I just wanted to say happy Valentine's Day to you all! Whether you're single, in a relationship, dealing with something complicated, or forever faithful to your cats, everyone should take today to love someone, even (or especially) if that someone is yourself!

I'll be honest, I think almost all of them have to do with a long distance relationship or being apart for a period of time. There is something tragically romantic about a forlorn heart, and though I've not quite been in a long distance relationship, I've had the feelings and I've felt the emotions on a number of occasions. What makes it romantic is not the feeling of being lonely (obviously), but still feeling so strongly for that person that you want to return to them. So without further rambling, my songs:

I'm a sap and I know it. Since I have to work tonight and I'm squarely in the midst of No-Alcohol February, I want someone to enjoy a box of chocolates, a glass of wine, and a sappy classic romance (my suggestions are Titanic and the Notebook) on my behalf. Have a splendiferous Valentine's Day and enjoy all of the clearance chocolate tomorrow (I know I will!)!
